About
Sarah Morrissey
I have been competing in rodeos since I was 8 years old, with the exception of the years that I was in pharmacy school! I was born and raised in Merritt, British Columbia. I then furthered my education and rodeo career at Idaho State University and Chadron State College, where I graduated with my bachelor's degree in Human Biology and chemistry. I completed my education at the University of Wyoming where I received my Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Upon graduation, I moved to Washington state where I worked for Rite Aid Pharmacy until July of 2019. In July, I chose to take a break from pharmacy and pursue a full time commitment to professional breakaway roping! I have had some good success and amazing experiences so far! I am currently travelling around the country, going to as many PRCA rodeos and breakaway roping competitions as possible!!
Here is a list of some of my recent accomplishments:

Rope For The Crown 2020 "Oreo and I had a pretty great day (12/6/2020). We won the 1st round, placed 5th in the 2nd round, but then broke out in the 3rd round...However were were extremely lucky to be able to come back 14th high call to the short round where we got the round win and ended the day placing 5th in the average!!" - Sarah Morrissey
I plan to continue living this awesome life and keep striving to be the best breakaway roper!
